Web Design and Front end Development

At the start of any project comes the design process at this stage we will create a static image of your new website using a graphics program such as adobe photoshop as it saves time and is easier to make ammendments .The aim of this process is to create a visually appealing design with user friendly navigation so that your users can easily find there way around your site. Once a design has been agreed we will move on to front end development.

Front end devlopment is where the design or set of designs are re constructed into web pages using W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) compliant XHTML and CSS. Unlike many web designers at Meac Web Design this is all done by hand as using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) program such a Adobe Dreamweaver can result in bulky hard to manage code that may not be cross browser compatible. If your website is a static site then at the end of this stage your site will be ready to go live if your website is going to be database driven or has some kind of custom functionality then your website will need to go through the back end website development process in order to make these functions work.
